This luxury Mediterranean-style house offers all the comforts (4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, saltwater infinity pool) you need for a pleasant stay. The house's central location will enable you to walk to the wonderful Pelada beach, walk to the La Boca river along the monkey trail, enjoy the most famous restaurants in the area ( La Luna, El Chivo, Il Peperonni ) or go surfing on the Guionès spot. The space Plunge into the heart of the lush jungle to discover Casa Mareva, a luxurious Mediterranean-inspired beach house located at 5 minutes driving to Guiones, decorated in a warm, minimalist style that will make you feel the tropical ambience of Costa Rica. The decoration and design of Casa Mareva have been conceived to offer you a unique experience in a soothing setting in harmony with nature. All the furniture, made entirely from teak and manufactured in Nosara, adds a warm, tropical touch. Casa Mareva is divided into several areas, with the swimming pool at the heart of the house. The main entrance gives access to the interior living space, the dining room, lounge and kitchen area, offering a configuration on 2 different levels with the fully-equipped kitchen, a warm place, open onto the pool and garden with the corner bay window. A high table for convivial meals will also enable you to spend pleasant moments with family or friends. You can enjoy a more conventional meal in the dining room, where a large table seats 8. The lounge area features a sofa integrated into the building, so you can relax and watch connected TV. The 3 upstairs bedrooms make up another separate block and are located on the upper part of the house. They are all equipped with air conditioning, a closet for storing your clothes and a private bathroom. The master bedroom, which makes up the last block, has a large dressing room, a bright bathroom with a skylight over the bathtub, a double washbasin and a shower. At the heart of Casa Mareva, you can enjoy the outdoor space and garden with the saltwater infinity pool, the centerpiece of the house, built in natural stone where you can cool off after what is sure to be a very hot day. There's also a sunbathing area where you can relax with family and friends. An outdoor toilet is also available. Finally, if you need to wash clothes, the house has a washing machine and tumble dryer. For security, the house is fully fenced and has surveillance cameras. For your comfort, one person will be dedicated to the upkeep of the garden and swimming pool, and housekeeping will be carried out during your stay. About the location of the house. It's located in section A of Playa Pelada, on the road to La Boca, a stone's throw from the Nosara biological park. Surrounded by jungle (opposite is an NCA protected area with no construction possible), you'll be able to see and hear a multitude of birds, or spot monkeys roaming in the trees right in front of the house. If you want to go to the beach, nothing could be easier. The wonderful Pelada beach is a 5-minute walk away. Watching the sunset on Pelada beach is a truly incredible experience. La Boca (where the river meets the sea) is a 5-minute walk away. You can fish, paddle or kayak in this incredible part of the region, just 2 steps from our house. Still on the ocean side, if you like surfing, no problem. The legendary Guionès surf spot is less than 10 minutes away by car. And if you fancy a bite to eat, Pelada boasts some of the region's best-known restaurants (El Chivo, Il Peperroni, La Luna, Olgas) within easy walking distance. Supermarkets are a 5/10-minute drive away. We can also help you book all kinds of activities, including boat tours, car rentals, golf carts or buggy rentals, mountain bike rentals, and chef-led meals. RATES High Season (January 4 - April 30): $650/night (minimum 4 nights) Low Season (May - September - October): $380/night (minimum 4 nights) Green Season (June - July - August): $500/night (minimum 4 nights) Christmas - New Year: $1150/night (minimum one week) Thanksgiving: $950/night (minimum one week) PLEASE NOTE Security Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the very few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house, and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property. Internet and Electricity In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access always is crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner of the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager. Water During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs. Jungle creatures We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay.Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night). Refunds No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby. Insurance We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from traveling or fulfilling Rental terms.
